The Red and Black Plaid Shirt

The Mark Chow Appreciation Society. It is a tradition at camp for campers to wear Mark Chow’s signature Red and Black Plaid Shirt. Photo taken at Virtual CFC in 2020.

All 4 Chow Brothers, sons of Uncle Weichien Chow and Auntie Mary Chow,  returned to Family Camp in 2022 at Cedar Lake. Mark Chow on the far right has inspired our Red and Black Plaid Shirt Tradition. He is known for creating our official CFC Introduction Video and our 1977 Black and White documentaries. He is also a core member of our Wawasee Blues Band.

The Chow Brothers at Oakwood Park. The Chow Family have been long time campers who started coming to camp in the 1960s, before the ancient Han Dynasty red plaid pattern was re-discovered by archeologists.
