Most of us were awakened to a loud crash when lightening struck something on the grounds around 6:30 a.m. We had quite a thunderstorm! The Dali Lama visited the preteens today. I heard them practicing throat chanting. There are some colorful prayer flags drying on the table as this gets written. Sometimes one has misgivings about taking all the trouble to get to Family Camp, all the inconveniences and travel and work involved. Actually, this happens every year.
