Playing trivial pursuit in the Lilac room at 11:30 pm with the rest of the late nighters (mason, eric, bing, uncle allen, uncle mark, auntie v, and auntie karen). The lilac room is new this year, replacing the geranium room. Not as high of a ceiling, but a bigger roof for sure. Today we barely made it through the heat, trudging to and from the barn for meals and using Ideal Beach as a cool down. Joe Lee’s family came today and it was nice to see Meredith and Madelyn and Mason… we’ve doubled our teen population.
“It’s the Chinese way to pick the hard way to do something,” words of wisdom from Mark Chow.
“Maybe the easy way is to do the hard thing,” says uncle joe lee. Our wisdom is clearly too much to handle right now.
